The band were great, lively and exactly what we wanted to get everyone up and dancing. Excellent musicians and great craic!
Hi Joe and lads,
St. Patrick’s Day Ceili, Cutty Sark (RMG)
The SGH Trio were the life and soul of our St Paddy’s Ceili. Energetic and enthusiastic in music and manner, they were a pleasure to work with from start to finish. Our guests thoroughly enjoyed taking part in the dancing, which was made simple enough for beginners, while still enjoyable for those who already had some knowledge in the steps. We’re very grateful to The SGH Trio for their involvement in our event, and would love to have them back some time. A personal and professional joy to have worked with, for staff and guests.

St Patricks Day Ceili at the magnificent ship that is The Cutty Sark!
We had the most amazing time at the Cutty Sark on St Patrick’s Day! Loads of people dancing. Did you know we hosted ceilis!?
16th March, the day before St Patricks’s Day. We, The SGH Trio were delighted to have been invited to appear on This Morning. Presenters Ruth Langsford and Eamonn Holmes were delighted to have us there. We were joined by the superb sé nos dancer Emma O’Sullivan. We even recorded the This Morning Theme tune for them!
Great review from an SGH gig in June
“We hired the lads to play at an LGBT performance and club night celebrating Irish culture at an East London venue. They were very punctual, showing up on time for a professional soundcheck well in advance. They had a great attitude and were fantastic at getting the crowd going! They had no problem letting our performers jump in on the mic as well to do some ceilí calling and other silly things we wanted to do. Would highly recommend them for any event where you need a lively trad band. “
